Thor and Superman is a true battle of comic book titans. Their Strength is about equal, speed is in the man of steel's corner, but the power of the Odin force is in Thor's. Although Superman is a lot faster than Thor, Thor has the great equalizer, the Odin Force. Superman must employ a hit and run strategy to have any shot in this battle. Superman would have to hit Thor with everything including his heat rays, cold breathe, and the kitchen sink. Would it be enough though? We think it wouldn't. Superman has one real weaknesss and it's magic. Thor's greatest strength is due in part to the Odin Force which he uses magic to manipulate energy. Thor would call on the power of the Odin Force to block some of the blows of Superman and knock the man of steel out of the sky and send Superman to the norse gods. This is one of the few characters that Superman would have trouble beating in almost any environment. It's simply a bad match up for him. Superman and magic is a bad mix for the man of steel. |
