Probably the most talked about battle between two of the true superhero super powers is a clash between the Hulk of Marvel Comics and Superman of DC Comics. It’s hard to tell who would truly win. Here are the main abilities of each character.

Hulk
1. Limitless strength (due to rage factor)
2. Unmatched healing factor and great durability
3. Resistant to extreme cold and heat

Superman
1. Super strength
2. Super Speed
3. Stamina
4. Heat Vision / Cold Breath

I know there is a lot of other powers each has, but I just wanted to keep it simple. Here is how I would figure it would go down. After the initial change of Banner to the Hulk, he is at a large disadvantage to Superman. Superman is not only faster, but a lot stronger than the Hulk at this point as he has not yet tapped into his anger power increase. So I believe that if Superman wants to beat the Hulk, this will be his opportunity.

The only thing is if Superman doesn’t finish the Hulk off quickly and pounds on the Hulk for a while, then I think it would lead to the defeat of Superman. We all know the saying of “the madder the Hulk gets the stronger he gets.” Superman’s only real chance at winning at this point would be to use his speed since the Hulk simply doesn’t have the pure speed to keep up with Superman. I am not sure how much the speed will help however, since Superman’s breath and heat vision won’t have much effect on him since he was able to shrug off a nova blasts from the Human Torch and I’m not sure what Superman could hit the Hulk with to stop him at this point. Throwing the Hulk into space or an alternate universe won’t help since the Hulk produces a gland that allows him to breath in space and the sun isn’t hot enough, at this point, to kill the Hulk.
